Dr. Rainer Fischer is a naturopathic physician in Scottsdale, Arizona. Born in Vienna, Austria, he completed his undergraduate medical studies at the University of Vienna, before he followed his passion to move to the US and become a naturopathic doctor. Dr. Fischer is a graduate of the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, and he has extensive additional training in Europe as well as in the US, including advanced IV therapy, bioidentical hormone therapy, stem cell therapy, prolotherapy, and the Cranial Release Technique (CRT).
In his practice for natural medicine, Dr. Fischer blends the best of medical science and European naturopathy to support his patients on their individual path to health. He treats a wide range of conditions common in the primary care setting, while focusing on the treatment of mental-emotional imbalances, chronic pain, and hormone disorders.
Dr. Fischer developed The Five Star Program, a comprehensive and integrated treatment program for mental-emotional imbalances, that accounts for the interconnectedness and complexity of the mind-body connection.
He also serves as an adjunct faculty at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture (PIHMA), where he teaches pharmacology and Western herbal medicine.
